Canadian multitalent Jaidene Veda gives Jill Scott‘s ethereal love song “He Loves Me (Lyzel In E Flat)” a jazzy House makeover made specifically for the dancefloor.
If you’re familiar with the original — and how can you not be? — you already know that the dancefloor is not where Miss Jill intended for this one to be played, but I don’t think she’d have a problem with what Veda has done to her beautiful 2000 ode to her then-husband. Veda’s creation is certainly a body-mover, melding lyrics from the original with a beat that all her own.
