New York-based singer-songwriter Ronnie “Ro” James is looking to make serious waves this year and has released visuals for his second single “Alright,” taken from his upcoming debut EP Coke, Jack & Cadillacs, with a very cool country, hip hip soul vibe featuring backing vocals from Cocoa Sarai and Olamide Faison.
The music video directed by J. Shotti complements the song with dark and misty visuals that feature Ro James riding around in a sleek black cadillac and chilling with Bridget Kelly, Rocki Evans and Olamide Faison, who collectively call themselves, The Jackets.
“This song expresses what is real to me,” Ro explains. “When you are at your lowest point and riding around feeling like wtf sometimes you got to just say to yourself until you believe everything is going to be alright and get through it!”
Coke, Jack & Cadillacs will be released later this year.
