MMG’s Rockie Fresh has been on fire lately following his recently released Electric Highway mixtape and continues making his mark with a new track produced by the MIDI Mafia.
“Back Down” is a song from the upcoming project by the MIDI Mafia, titled GET CONNECTED | BRAND X. The beat uses a vocal sample loop whilst Rockie rides the heavy drums and hand claps. It’s a pretty fresh combination and MIDI Mafia member Dirty Swift seemed pleased with the collaboration.
“It was one of those situations where you play a beat for an artist and you immediately see the reaction,” Dirty Swift, one half of The MIDI Mafia, states on “Back Down.” “I knew right away he was gonna come up with something creative and unique. It definitely bumps with the music that’s out there, but also has a distinct Rockie Fresh and MIDI Mafia vibe.”
