Sene – ‘Four Finger Ringers’ (Prod. by J57) | New Music

Brooklyn-bred emcee Sene just dropped his latest release, Brooklyknight, via Plug Research a few weeks ago. Now, we hear the emcee lending some bars to the J57-produced “Four Finger Ringers.” The song will make its home on J57′s forthcoming release The Ports EP, the latest project from Brown Bag AllStars affiliate.

The track, which premiered yesterday via Okayplayer, has an almost somber feeling with its slave-sampling introduction and eery strings that play throughout the track. Given Sene’s past material, this is the perfect song for him to be featured on, as he has a very poetic and storytelling rhymestyle. His lyrics will definitely stay with you for longer than the 1:20 duration of the song.

On the same day he drops The Ports EP, J57 is also releasing a second EP called 2057 — both of which can be downloaded via his website.

Listen to “Four Finger Ringers” below, and make sure to download the projects on May 22nd.
