Despite boasting collaborations with Dom Kennedy, Problem, and Pac Div, Ingelwood, California native Skeme has yet to ride the wave of the “new West Coast” like his peers. His next release, Alive & Living, looks to change that, though. With the project’s latest sample, “Kidz With Gunz”, Skeme enlists the help of fellow Californian ScHoolboy Q to tackle the trunk-rattling, snare-trickling, trap-style instrumental, which comes courtesy of THC, and TDE’s Ali who mixes.
