Having released their A$AP Rocky-Mike Jones mash-up “Still Tip” just a few days prior, Sound Fx, the duo comprised of Dupree and Maddy McFly, present their latest mixtape, Medusa. Built on elongated melodies and dark, faded production, this newest offering from the pair is as intriguing as ever. This one should see us through ’til the release of their debut album, The Sunset LP, which is coming soon.
Medusa is about life situations that leave us immobilized; and women who make it difficult to love. While working on our debut album “The Sunset LP” we often times get side tracked and distracted, as is the nature of creative arts, Medusa is the outcome those random thoughts and unforgettable life experiences. This project is bit more experimental than “Still Dreaming” but not as ambitious as the “The Sunset LP” Enjoy.
