Statik Selektah stays working. Barely three months since the release of 2012, his full-length album as the 1982 duo alongside fellow Massachusetts-made hip-hop product, Termanology, the DJ serves up the first sample of his upcoming fifth studio album, Extended Play. Enlisting Term and his ST. Da Squad recruit Ea$y Money, the trio deliver “Something Special,” a track which is accurately described by its title.
Statik had a few strong words to accompany this new drop, too. Check out his tweets below, and stream “Something Special” after the jump.
