SZA – ‘Country’ | New Music

On the heels of her latest release “Time Travel Undone,” SZA releases new single, “Country,” a breezy song that gives life to the singer’s sultry vocals and makes for an interesting and good listen.

SZA‘s eclectic sound can be explained by her wide range of influences.

“I was raised on a lot of John Coltrane, Satchmo, Miles Davis, Billy Joel and Marvin Gaye, with an adult obsession of all things Wu-Tang,” she said in her biography. ”The one thing I’ve always admired is their ability to paint scenes with their sounds.  When I write, I usually let the beat saturate my mood and head space; that determines every scene and set design of any song, the rest all secondary.”

“Country” will be featured on SZA’s EP See.SZA.Run, which will be released soon.
