T.I. f/ Lil Wayne – “Ball” | New Music

Sam Gould October 13, 2012 Music, New Music Comments

New music from T.I.’s forthcoming album Trouble Man, in the form of the Weezy-assisted track  ”Ball”.

The Rico Love and Earl & E produced number is essentially New Orleans bounce, and should do well in the clubs, even if its sound is a little more suited to the mid ’00s than the present. Commenting on “Ball” in a recent interview, Tip said “It’s a dope record. It’s high energy, party, Southern club, fancy shit.” I wouldn’t disagree with any of that.

Stream the track below and let us know what you think:

T.I., Wayne, Birdman and Rico Love were also busy filming the visuals for “Ball” in Hollygrove (the area where Wayne was raised in New Orleans) recently. Check out some fan-captured footage here. Trouble Man, T.I.’s eighth studio album, drops on 18th December.
