Tanek Montgomery is one of those singers with an effortless delivery that makes it seem like he’s been perfecting his craft for years.
Raised in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Montgomery has been singing since he was four years old. Despite being a shy child, he found his voice and passion through music. He started singing in groups around the neighborhood and in church, including one called “Voices From Heaven’s Gates” when he was 17.
Now, Montgomery is working on a new untitled EP which should be coming out this summer or early fall. One of the first sounds from the project comes in the form of new single “Lovin You Better,” which features a smooth vibe and great vocal performance from Montgomery. The lyrics of the song speak to the fact that the woman whom he loves needs someone to love her better than he’s able to.
