Bristol hailing R&B firecracker Tanya Lacey drops off a brand new track from the recently released deluxe edition of Head Chef titled “Date Myself”.
“I wrote this in NY after having a conversation with another writer when asked me what I did back in the UK when I wasn’t in the studio and I joked that I generally just “dated myself”, being pissed off with previous relationships failing… “date myself” is on a tongue-in-cheek/playful kinda vibe and at the end of the day it’s a little reminder that its OK to be by yourself and to spend time getting to know yourself before diving back into a relationship just for the sake of it, especially at Christmas!! ;)” – Tanya Lacey.
