The Insomniax – ‘Love She Wants’ EP | New Music

London duo The Insomniax, comprised of brothers Kai Gama and Dr Sydney Velvet, bring soulful hip-hop vibes with their new EP, Love She Wants; a diverse seven-track project told from an imagined female perspective.

With a sole guest feature of Roses Gabor on the feel-good project’s vibrant, reggae-twinged opener “Friday Comes,” the brothers craft a solid, animated sound-bed throughout for their own encompassing abilities as singers, songwriters, emcees, producers and multi-instrumentalists – though their skills on the mic could do with some strengthening to match their quality of sound.
