The Notorious B.I.G., Diddy x Ma$e vs. M83 – ‘Mo Cities Mo Problems’ (Carlos Serrano Mix) | New Music

After what we can assume was most of Christopher Wallace‘s previously-recorded verses being utilised for the two posthumous releases, 1999′s Born Again and Duets: The Final Chapter in ’05, we’re pretty much left with remixes of existing material to satisfy our thirst for new Biggie. I can only imagine that there are hundreds, possibly thousands, of mash-ups, mixes and everything in between swanning the YouTubes as I write, but not many match the cohesiveness, intrigue factor and pure balls of Carlos Serrano‘s, which blends rap’s greatest with electronic outfit M83.

What do you get when you cross Biggie, Diddy and Ma$e‘s “Mo Money Mo Problems” with M83′s “Midnight City”? (No, that isn’t the set up to a joke). You get “Mo Cities Mo Problems”, which makes for an interesting listen, to say the least. Enjoy/dismiss as you please below.
