The Weeknd – “The Morning” (Original Version) | Unreleased Music

Back when The Weekend was a duo consisting of Abel Tesfaye and producer Jeremy Rose, they were apart of a group called She’s So Lovely; “A brotherhood of musicians, writers, photographers, these kids are full-blown artists and they continually fuck my mind”, known today as XO Gang.

This original first appeared on the group’s She’sSoLovely YouTube channel, shessolovely.com, swaggink.com, swagg.tv, but with the name change came the deletion of the YouTube account and all songs, videos, and websites created. This chopped up vocal version of “The Morning” features young Abel rapping over the smooth producing of Mr. Rose.

You might have heard the alternate version of “The Morning” on The Weeknd’s debut mixtape, House of Balloons; this was one of three tracks (“The Morning“, “What You Need“, & “Loft Music“) made before Mr. Abel and Jeremy parted ways.
