DJ Oneman takes TNGHT‘s trippy banger “Bugg’N” and B.o.B.‘s fiery Fuck ‘Em We Ball track “Still In This Bitch“, and mashes the two together to create the relentless trap anthem “Still Bugg’N This Bitch“.
Whilst the decision to mix those pioneering a new trap movement in dance music with the kings of southern trap music might seem like an obvious choice, the way in which Streatham-bred DJ Oneman welds together a rather slept-on Bobby Ray track and one of this year’s biggest club tracks is not only clever, but also supremely well-executed. The boasts of Grand Hustlers’ B.o.B and T.I. and Memphis legend Juicy J sound even better over Lunice and Hudson Mohawke’s industrial-sounding kicks than they did over Mike Will Made It‘s bass-heavy production, and this is no mean feat if we consider the fact Mike Will produces for trap gods like Gucci Mane on the regular.
