This track will definitely get some spins in the club and fans of of the YMCMB rapper will lap this one up voraciously, but I’m finding this Molly trend unnerving.
I know I’m getting old, but I’ve seen this trend of glamourising Molly aka MDMA aka Ecstasy in Hip Hop, dance music, Grime etc come and go, an I’ve also firsthand seen this stuff take lives. I’m not calling for emcees to take responsibility for what people take into their system and stop talking about drugs and alcohol etc, but people need to also know the kind of damage drugs like ‘Molly’ can cause. Just my thoughts.
Ok… I’m going to step off my ramble stool now.
