Von Pea – “Things Have Changed” | New Music

Michell C. Clark November 12, 2012 Hip Hop, Music, New Music Comments

Brooklyn emcee Von Pea serves up a present for his fans on his birthday in the form of “Things Have Changed,” produced by Aeon, from his upcoming EP Duly Noted.

Having been a part of Hip Hop outfit Tanya Morgan since its formation in 2005 upon the release of their Sunset EP, Von Pea appears to continue his steady stream of heartfelt music that hits home without conforming to current trends. “It’s funny how things have changed, yet everything stays the same,” he muses on the track, unafraid to provide blunt commentary with a laidback flow, delivering memorable lines such as, “feeding the family without pleading insanity, rap went from Daddy Kane to Danity. Tragic for the youth.” Take a listen below.
