Wiz Khalifa f/ Juicy J – “Gone” | New Music

After dropping a trippy visual for their Weeknd-sampling record “Know Betta” then popping up on a Ke$ha track, Taylor Gang’s duo of Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J are back with a new street release to please their fans.

“Gone” sees the pair continue to extol the virtues of money, drugs and women, despite the apparent limitations of age and fatherhood. Wiz claims he smokes 125 times a day and rhymes “that” with “that” about half a dozen times, which I think is his way of saying “fathers got swag too” whilst Juicy J brings in strippers, coke and pills to set his younger accomplice an extravagant and wholly inappropriate example.

This would in many ways be an updated version of “Young and Wild and Free” (which I hate beyond the realms of reason), if it wasn’t for the fact that Wiz actually sounds good here, and I’m sure this has something to do with the addition of a former Three Six Mafia member and a bouncy, mid-tempo beat. No word yet on what project this track belongs to, but O.N.I.F.C. drops December 4th, and it’s shaping up to be interesting. Listen to Wiz and Juicy J consume until everything’s “Gone” below.
