Premiered on Funkmaster Flex‘s show moments ago, Wiz Khalifa‘s brand new single “Work Hard, Play Hard” has hit the net. The song is co-produced by Stargate (the team behind Wiz’s 20011 breakout hit “Black & Yellow”) and Benny Blanco (producer to pop stars such as Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Ke$ha) and serves as the first single from his forthcoming album, O.N.I.F.C..
Wiz previewed the song at a San Francisco show on Friday and gave us a sneak peek of the bass-heavy beat and catchy hook on his song, but now fans can really wrap their ears round the audio.
It’s unquestionable that “Work Hard, Play Hard” will act as the chart-destined pop single, which puts a dampener on those hoping the Taylor Gang general would carry his core “stoner” sound past the Taylor Allderdice mixtape.
O.N.I.F.C. is due out on August 28th and will feature Cam’ron, Pharrell, The Weeknd and many more.
