This week 106 & Park’s Backroom freestyle series gave grimy New York Hip Hop its shine when Mobb Deep‘s Prodigy step up to the mic to do what he does best.
Still on his H.N.I.C. Part 3 grind the Infamous Don P (backed by mixtape and radio personality DJ On Point on the 1s and 2s) spat a set of rhymes that were in my opinion slightly below his highly respected standards. Don’t get me wrong, his bars weren’t bad… they just weren’t that good either. But hey… everyone is allowed an off night. God knows every emcee has had them. Check out the footage below.
