Red Cafe – ‘American Psycho’ [Mixtape] | Stream/Download

Still no album in sight, but NYC-favourite Red Cafe keeps the ball rolling with a new mixtape titled American Psycho. 

To help maintain some sort of buzz, Red’s enlisted a slew of special guests for the gory 12-track project, and they’re a real mixture of old collaborators and new names on the street, from the likes of Game and Fabolous (who appears on three tracks), to R&B stars Trey Songz and Jeremih, to Chief Keef, 2 Chainz and French Montana.

On the production side of things, the Red Cafe calls on the likes of Reefa, Soundsmith, League of Starz and (the now ubiquitous) Young Chop to handle his beats, so expect snare-heavy bangers rather than subtle boom-bap to keep you going until the release of his long-awaited debut ShakeDown, expected some time next year.
