ExR (Etta Bond x Raf Riley) – “The Funeral” | New Music

Verse November 18, 2012 Soul/R&B/Alt Comments

I honestly can’t express how much love I have for the Odd Child productions (Labrinth’s label) repping ExR duo comprised of singer-songwriter Etta Bond and producer Raf Riley.
After delivering the replay worthy “Boring Bitches” featuring Lady Leshurr, which has received praise from artists including Azealia Banks, Kano and many more as well as radio spins from the likes of Zane Lowe, and dropping their debut Emergency Room EP, the duo drop off another banger in the form of “The Funeral”.

Etta and Raf get their Slim Shady on and fire a few shots (tongue in cheek possibly) at some of the pop chickas in the UK scene, name checking Lily Allen, Rita Ora and most scathingly Tulisa
“Someone tell the female boss she’s got the sack, don’t tell me you saw 1xtra live and still don’t think she’s wack, If she says urban one more time I’ll give the girl a slap…”

Take a listen while I wipe away these tears of laughter.
