There’s been a slew of hit songs released in 2012 already (Odd Future‘s “Oldie“, Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre‘s “The Recipe” and Kanye West‘s “Theraflu” to name just a few) but not one has experienced the online aftermath G.O.O.D. Music‘s rendition of young Chief Keef‘s “I Don’t Like” saw yesterday.
Barely 24 hours since its (delayed) release — in which it has become the single talking point on Twitter, blogs and corner hangouts alike — Nael Shehade, aka Force One Seven, adds fuel to the fire and presents the live recording of Keef’s verse on the remix.
The 16-year-old Chicago native laid down his brash bars separate from Pusha T, Big Sean, Jadakiss and the Chi-Town-referencing Kanye West, instead recording them at his Grandmother’s home due to being on house arrest (Keef allegedely pointed a handgun at police officers in his neighbourhood back in December). As we see, it didn’t take long for the teenage rapper to think up his new verse, which includes Twitter’s new favourite hashtag, “that’s that sh*t I don’t like”.
