Fashion and lifestyle label Boylston Trading Company present some insight into New York rapper Curt@in$’ mantra “Dior & Jordans,” touching on his mix of high fashion and streetwear tastes, his preferred colour of dress and how his interest in fashion interacts with his music.

Hailing from Brooklyn, the rapper describes his music as, “real soulful, real aggressive. It’s social conscious, it’s high fashion it’s shit-talking, it’s misogynist, but then there’s love there, there’s pain there, there’s a want to teach there… and my fashion is just really aggressive and it’s very minimal.”

DopeBoyC, who’s just released his 23 EP, goes on to discuss questioning norms and his innate leadership qualities. He’s very clear about who he is and with his current position at high end streetwear label En Noir as Brand Director, and his reported affiliation with Pusha T’s Re-Up Gang Records. It’ll be interesting to watch what he gets up to next.
