Oh fair city of ours, Metropolis of the brave… London. You have been selected by Gucci to be honoured, may you long bathe in the sunshine we experienced today. As part of their ‘City Series Collection,’ Gucci have chosen London as the inspiration for their new pieces.
The upcoming Olympic Games, coupled with the extreme talent that lays within [and of course, best online magazine, SoulCulture!], have put the spotlight firmly upon the capital city, and seems the designers of Gucci are following suit.
The collection comprises of a duffell holdall, tote, mobile cover, trainers, sunglasses and a watch which all pay homage to the city by way of featuring the London skyline, accented by the colours of the Olympic Rings.
Although no release date or price is confirmed, you can expect to find these at your local Gucci boutique in the upcoming months.
