Idris Elba cleans up, offers style advice in June issue of British GQ

Starring in new sci-fi film Prometheus, British actor Idris Elba scores a photo spread inside British GQ’s June issue and, in typical GQ style, the spread sees Elba donning dapper suits and trilby hats for the slick shoot.

“Idris has tailor made his own success. Decorated with a Golden Globe for his lead role in the police drama Luther, he has since been inundated with offers from Hollywood. Here, the star of Ridley Scott’s Prometheus takes the lead for GQ,” the magazine writes.

Although promoting his latest blockbuster movie, Elba takes time out to talk fashion and gives his advice on how to choose the right cut shirt and with how to match the perfect pocket square. Something tells me this interview and spread will be something for not only the guys but the ladies, too.

The June issue of British GQ is on stands now. Prometheus will be in cinemas June 1st.
