Kanye West’s eroticism-themed video for ’25′ magazine launch [NSFW Video]

Polish fashion model Anja Rubik recruited Kanye West to help put together a video promoting her new magazine 25, and the result is 99 seconds of unusual, rather artsy and pretty not-safe-for-work footage following the premiere issue’s theme of “erotica from a woman’s point of view.”

West and Rubik apparently became chummy after repeatedly crossing paths at fashion events, and their decision to collaborate on the promo video stemmed from a conversation the two had about how she wanted the magazine to approach sex.

“It’s funny. We talked about porn looks these days, and he agreed with me that there’s no porn out there that is beautiful aesthetically and integrates fashion to make a beautiful image,” Rubik explained to NY Magazine. “We were on the same page about a lot of things.”

Rubik plans to have 25 carry a theme of eroticism throughout all its issues (“I think it’s very interesting that we don’t have many magazines that are erotic,” she said.), and her discussion with West lead to him agreeing to work with photographer and director Barnaby Roper on a video that explores the sensual imagery from the magazine’s pages.

“I thought it would be really interesting to make it seem like we were entering Kanye’s head,” she said about the video. “It’s not pornographic, but it’s very sensual.”

Or very weird.

You remember the scene from Boomerang when Eddie Murphy and Robin Givens were at that meeting with Lady Eloise, and Eddie’s assistant showed the executives his commercial for the new Strangé fragrance? Remember Eddie’s reaction to that weird shit? Same reaction I had when I watched this. (You know what I’m talkin’ about, right? If not, watch it here.)

This here is some real Strangé West-type shit.

Or maybe I’m just not artsy enough to get it. Very possible.

Anyway, check it out for yourself below.
