Taking discarded tents remaining after British summer music festivals, TENT revives the materials to produce a line of utilitarian duffle bags and satchels, all baring the hallmark of being handmade and designed in England.

Don’t make the mistake of associating recycled materials with anything short of superior quality, as each TENT product is manufactured using Cumbria-based Chapman Bags Ltd.‘s hand cutting and hand machining craftmanship.

Innovatively and ingeniously, the fabric from the discarded tents is combined with Chapman Bags’ bonded core heritage multilayered, waterproof and hardwearing canvas material for added strength. Vegetable-tanned leather and British-made equestrian-grade nickel hardware are also used to enhance the utilitarian durability of each bag.

Durbility and practicality only account for two of the many characteristics that distinguish TENT from the majority of accessory manufacturers today. Providing aesthetic charm for TENT’s modern take on the conventional duffel, satchel and holdall designs, modernity and artisan heritage are blended together exquisitely. Tent fabrics serve as the focal element to the collection whilst accents are provided by traditional British rich greens, deep blues, earthy browns and lavish maroons.
