The first leak from Brooklyn based soul singer Alecia Chakour‘s forthcoming EP is this rousing re-working of raging soul classic “Hard Times”. The song was originally penned by Curtis Mayfield and recorded by Baby Huey & The Babysitters, later sampled by Ghostface.
