Melanie Fiona chats to SoulCulture TV about her admiration of the “diversity and realness” of the UK music scene, from Lily Allen, Adele, Amy Winehouse and Estelle to The Beatles and lovers rock legend Janet Kay (whose “Silly Games” classic she sampled on “Sad Songs”).

Melanie reveals that whilst in London last month she got in the studio with British rap star Tinchy Stryder, who recently confirmed his new business venture with Jay-Z and co, launching Takeover Roc Nation.
