Yesterday (28th February 2011) SoulCulture.TV caught up with R&B superstar Trey Songz.

In the 1st part of our interview, Trey Songz talks to us about featuring on a song called “Take Off” from UK MC Chipmunk (who is the 1st UK artist Trey Songz has worked with)’s forthcoming sophomore album Transition, he breaks down the meaning of the song “It’s a song about a battle he (Chipmunk) is basically having with himself and the woman that he is dealing with at the same time” and shares his admiration for the young MC.

Trey also discusses wanting to work with UK producers following Drake‘s recommendations while in the UK on his Light Dreams & Nightmares tour.
He also shared praise for Tinie Tempah who’s music he was introduced to by Kelly Rowland and showed some love to fellow label and management mate Estelle, who Trey says has “Some dope stuff coming!”.
